Make More of the Covered Space You Already Have
A covered lanai gives you shade, but screening it in can make the space much easier to use. Screens keep out mosquitoes, no-see-ums, leaves, and blowing debris while still allowing fresh air through and preserving the connection to your backyard. The result is a more comfortable place for morning coffee, meals outside, entertaining, or simply spending time outdoors without sitting in direct sun or fighting insects.
Absolute Aluminum has been building outdoor living spaces for Florida homeowners under the same ownership since 1988. We design screen rooms and lanai enclosures around the home, the view, and the way you plan to use the space, with experienced guidance from the first conversation through installation.
The Absoview Difference: Lanai Enclosures Designed to Actually Disappear
A screen enclosure should protect the space without becoming the first thing you see. Traditional enclosure designs can create a grid of crossbars across the view, which is especially noticeable from the places where you spend the most time sitting or entertaining.
Exclusively crafted by Absolute Aluminum, Absoview reduces unnecessary visual obstruction with a minimized crossbar configuration. The aluminum framing remains structurally sound while keeping the enclosure's visual footprint as quiet as possible. Instead of looking through a series of framed rectangles, you get a cleaner sightline to the pool, landscaping, water, or backyard beyond the lanai.
For homeowners who spend a lot of time outdoors, that difference becomes noticeable every day, whether you're watching the sunset, entertaining friends, or keeping an eye on the pool.
Screen Room and Lanai Options We Install
We design screened lanais with high-quality aluminum framing and US-made Phifer TuffScreen, which comes with a 10-year warranty. You can choose from various mesh options for visibility, durability, and insect protection to fit your lifestyle.
For homeowners who place a high priority on maintaining the view, we design an Absoview enclosure with minimal crossbars to meet your property's requirements. The goal is to provide the protection of a screened enclosure while keeping as little aluminum as practical between you and the outdoors.
Turn an open patio or covered area into an outdoor living space you can use more often. Screening helps keep insects and debris out while providing protection from direct sun and light rain. Each screen room is designed around the home's existing architecture, available space, and the homeowner's intended use.
Decorative screen doors from Suntech Doors offer a more finished alternative to a basic enclosure door while providing the durability needed for frequent use. Styles can be coordinated with the surrounding enclosure so the door feels like part of the overall design rather than an afterthought.
Customize Your Lanai or Screen Room
The enclosure itself is only part of how the finished space can work. Depending on your home and how you plan to use the lanai, additional outdoor enhancements can provide more privacy, protection, lighting, or flexibility.
Options may include:
During the design process, we'll talk through what each option adds and whether it makes sense for your particular space rather than adding features you do not need.
Screen Room and Lanai Installation With the Absolute Proven Process
Your project starts with understanding your space rather than simply selling you a product. Absolute Aluminum follows a proven process designed to keep screen room installation clear and organized from the first conversation through completion.
We Listen First
We start by talking about how you use the lanai or patio today, what you want to improve, and what matters most, whether that is insect protection, a clearer view, added comfort, or more usable outdoor space.
We Design Around Your Home
Our team evaluates the existing structure, dimensions, sightlines, and surrounding architecture to recommend an enclosure design that fits the property rather than looking like an add-on.
You Know What You're Getting
Before installation begins, we review the proposed layout, screen options, framing configuration, and other project details so you understand what is being built and why.
We Take Care of the Technical Details
When permitting, engineering, wind-load requirements, or other approvals apply, our team coordinates them as part of the project.
We Install It Right
Experienced installation crews build the enclosure with careful attention to framing, screen tension, doors, connection points, and the existing structure.
We Stay Until You’re Happy
Once installation is complete, we review the finished enclosure with you, address any remaining details, and confirm your satisfaction before considering the project complete.
Absolute Aluminum has operated under the same ownership since 1988, giving our team decades of experience with Florida enclosure construction, local permitting requirements, and the details that separate a well-planned screen room or lanai from one that simply fills an opening.
Why Florida Homeowners Choose Absolute Aluminum for Screen Rooms and Lanais
The products matter, but the difference comes down to the people who specify, design, and install them. Absolute Aluminum has spent more than three decades building outdoor living projects in Florida, with a process centered on solid education, solid communication, and solid installation.
Homeowners choose Absolute Aluminum for reasons that include:

Frequently Asked Questions About Lanai and Screen Room Enclosures
The terms can overlap. A lanai usually refers to a covered outdoor living area incorporated into the home's design, while a screen room may be an enclosure built around an existing patio or outdoor area. Both provide screened outdoor living space, and the right configuration depends on your home's existing footprint and how you want to use it.
We primarily install Phifer TuffScreen. Phifer manufactures its screen products in the USA, and TuffScreen is backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty. You can compare available screen samples at our Venice and Naples showrooms before selecting a material.
In many cases, yes. Motorized roll-down screens and Hurricane Defender Screens may be added to existing lanais and screen room structures. We first evaluate the existing enclosure and mounting conditions to determine what type of retrofit is appropriate.
Yes. Permit and engineering coordination are part of the Absolute Proven Process. Florida enclosure projects must meet specific building and wind-resistance requirements, and our team coordinates the technical aspects of the project rather than leaving homeowners to navigate them on their own.
Start with a free consultation and estimate. We'll look at your property, talk through how you want to use the space, review your options, and explain what the project would involve before you make a decision.

Top Benefits of a Screened Lanai in Florida
If you’re a Venice or Tampa area homeowner, you know Florida’s beautiful weather also comes with its share of bugs, heat, and blowing debris. A screened lanai helps create a comfortable outdoor living space by keeping insects, leaves, and dirt out while still allowing fresh air to move through your patio area.
Because lanais sit under your home’s existing roof, screening in the openings creates a shaded space that’s perfect for relaxing, dining, or entertaining without being exposed to direct sun or pests. Many homeowners enjoy using their lanai throughout the day—whether it’s a quiet morning coffee, a family dinner outside, or simply enjoying the evening breeze.
A screened lanai also helps turn your covered patio into a true extension of your living space. With the right screen type for your needs, you can enjoy your backyard views while adding comfort, protection, and usability to your outdoor area.
