More Comfort, Shade, and Protection Outside
A backyard in Sarasota should be somewhere you actually want to spend time, not a space you avoid because of mosquitoes, relentless afternoon sun, or another round of debris in the pool. Absolute Aluminum has helped Southwest Florida homeowners get more from their outdoor spaces since 1988, with pool enclosures, screen rooms, pergolas, patio covers, and other systems designed for the way people live here.
Our team brings decades of local experience to everything from design and engineering to permitting and installation. For Sarasota homeowners who want to explore materials and options in person, our Venice showroom is a short drive away.
Pool Enclosures Built for Sarasota Living
Florida living comes with plenty of sun, insects, and debris whether you want them around the pool or not. A well-designed pool enclosure helps keep mosquitoes and no-see-ums out, reduces what ends up in the water, and gives you a more comfortable place to spend time outside.
For homeowners who want more open sightlines, our exclusive AbsoView design minimizes the framing that interrupts your backyard view. Nebula Lighting can also be integrated into the enclosure frame for subtle lighting after sunset, as well as other outdoor living enhancements.
Screen Rooms, Patio Enclosures, and Lanais for Every Outdoor Space
Not every Sarasota backyard revolves around a pool. Screen rooms (also often referred to as “lanais” in Southwest Florida) and patio enclosures give covered patios and other outdoor areas protection from bugs and blowing debris while keeping the breeze and open-air feel that brought you outside in the first place.
When an existing enclosure is still structurally sound, full replacement may not be necessary. We provide screen repair and rescreening for systems that need targeted attention or an entirely new screen.
Pergolas, Patio Covers, and Motorized Screens
Sometimes what an outdoor space needs most is better control over sun, shade, and weather. We’ve partnered with StruXure to offer Southwest Florida homeowners their innovative adjustable pergolas. They feature motorized adjustable louvers that open when you want more sun and airflow, then close for shade or when rain is detected. We can even integrate pergola lighting so you can continue to enjoy your outdoor space well into the evening. The systems are backed by a StruXure manufacturer-limited lifetime warranty.
For homeowners who prefer fixed overhead coverage, patio covers provide dependable shade without enclosing the space. They create a cooler, more comfortable place for outdoor dining, seating, or everyday use while keeping the sides open to the breeze.
We also install motorized retractable screens that add another layer of flexibility. Lower them when afternoon sun, insects, or privacy become an issue, then retract them when you want the area open again. Our Defender Hurricane Screens can provide all these benefits plus impact protection in severe weather conditions.
Entryway Enclosures
A screened entryway enclosure gives you a transition between the front door and the outdoors while helping keep insects from following you inside and providing a safer space for packages to be delivered. Each enclosure is designed around the home so it looks like part of the property rather than an add-on.
Screen Repair and Remodeling
We provide screen repair and rescreening for existing enclosures throughout Sarasota. Whether a storm damaged the screen, sections have torn, or years of Florida weather have taken their toll, we look at what can be repaired before recommending a larger replacement project.
The Absolute Proven Process: What Sarasota Homeowners Can Expect
In Sarasota, outdoor projects often come with more moving parts than homeowners expect, from HOA guidelines and permitting to engineering requirements for permanent structures. Our Absolute Proven Process keeps those details organized while giving you a clear picture of what is happening at every stage.
We Listen First
We start with how you want to use your Sarasota outdoor space, whether that means a quieter screened lanai, a more comfortable pool area, or better shade for entertaining.
We Design Around Your Lifestyle
Your project is planned around your home, property layout, and the way you actually spend time outside, not pulled from a one-size-fits-all template.
You Know Exactly What You're Getting
We walk through the design, materials, options, and project details before work begins so expectations are clear from the start.
We Handle the Hard Stuff
Our team coordinates engineering, permitting, and project requirements, including the HOA considerations common throughout Sarasota communities.
Built Right the First Time
Experienced installers, many with 10 to 30 years on the job, use proven methods and close attention to the details that matter in Florida's coastal environment.
We Don't Leave Until You're Happy
We review the finished project with you, answer questions, and address anything that needs attention before we call the work complete.
Frequently Asked Questions About Pool Enclosures and Outdoor Living in Sarasota
Florida pool enclosures are engineered and permitted in accordance with applicable building requirements, including wind loads for coastal areas such as Sarasota. Proper engineering, permitting, and installation all matter when building a permanent structure for Florida conditions. Our team coordinates those parts of the project from the beginning.
We coordinate any permitting required for our projects. We can account for HOA requirements during planning, when applicable, to make the approval process easier for the homeowner. Sarasota communities can have requirements beyond local building codes, so discussing them early helps keep the project moving in the right direction.
Yes. If the aluminum structure is still in good condition and the screen material is the only thing that has deteriorated, rescreening can be a practical alternative to replacing the entire enclosure. We’ll assess the existing structure and recommend the appropriate level of work, not try to sell you on the biggest project.
