Our Story: Building Trust, One Enclosure at a Time

Absolute Aluminum was founded in 1988 by Dale “DJ” Desjardins, who still leads the company as our dedicated CEO. We started with just a handful of employees, a single truck serving the tri-city area, and a dream. From the beginning, DJ set a clear vision: provide exceptional aluminum services with an unwavering commitment to quality, trust, and customer satisfaction.

As we expanded we explored a multitude of outdoor living products and found our niche in the pool and patio enclosure industry, deciding to focus on our core products: pool & patio enclosures, StruXure pergolas, roll down screens, and more. With each project, we’ve refined what we call our Absolute Proven Process – a guarantee of solid education, solid communication, and solid installation every time. This process is the cornerstone of our world-class customer service experience, ensuring that every client is confident, informed, and thrilled with the results.

Fast forward to today:

We’ve grown to a team of about 100 talented employees, operating a fleet of over 45 vehicles and serving homeowners across Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, and Collier counties. While we’ve scaled up, we’ve never lost sight of the values that got us here - trustworthiness, reliability, and an unshakable commitment to doing things the right way. Licensed, insured, and family-operated, we’ve stayed true to our roots.

Most recently, we expanded our presence into the Naples area, allowing us to better serve homeowners across Southwest Florida and continue growing our reach from Tampa to Naples.
