Your Most Common Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Project Questions

This FAQ was created to give you a clear, convenient reference for what to expect before and during your project with Absolute Aluminum. From scheduling and payments to how to prepare your space, we’ve outlined the most common questions we receive to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We know there’s a lot that goes into planning a home improvement project, and this guide is here to keep you informed every step of the way.

How is my project scheduled?
We schedule projects by the week, not by the day. You may start on any day within your assigned week—not necessarily Monday.

When will I know what day you’re coming?
You’ll get a text or email on Saturday afternoon before your scheduled week with our best estimate of which day(s) we plan to be there.

Can the scheduled days change?
Yes. Our schedule is based on site conditions and how work progresses on jobs ahead of yours. The goal is to complete your activity within the week, but if something is delayed, it may shift into the following week.

Will I be notified right before work starts?
Yes. We’ll send a text or email the day before any visit with an estimated arrival time.

When are payments due?

  • Draw payments: Due 1 week before our first scheduled activity.

  • Final payment: Due on the day primary construction is completed.

What if I’m financing the project?
If you’re using one of our financing options, we’ll request the funds from the lender when due.

How should I pay?
We prefer:
• Check
• Bank wire (contact our office for instructions)

Where do I send my payment?
Absolute Aluminum
1220 Ogden Road
Venice, FL 34285

Do I need to prepare for the prescan?
No, but if it’s easy to clear furniture from the deck, it’s helpful.

What should I do with my plants?

  • Remove any plants you want to save before work begins.

  • Trim back remaining plants to allow at least 2 feet of clearance from cage walls (3 feet preferred) before your scheduled week.

Does the deck need to stay clear?
Not in our absence, only when we will be on site. The work area needs to be kept free and clear of all furniture and plants and remain clear while our technicians are on site, including the final fabrication measure and scan.

How should I respond to messages from Absolute Aluminum?
Please reply to our emails and texts confirming receipt. These come from our office line,
941.497.7777, or our [email protected] email address. A simple “YES” is helpful and appreciated.

What number should I provide for urgent contact?
Please send us a cell phone number where we can reach you for emergencies or last-minute schedule changes.

What’s the best way to communicate during construction?
We prefer text or email whenever possible, as it allows us to respond quickly and keep a clear record.

Can I request phone calls instead?
Absolutely! If you prefer phone communication, just let us know and we’ll accommodate.

How should I submit requests or changes?
All requests and changes must be submitted in writing, ideally by email. This creates a clear record we can both refer to for clarity, helping ensure mutual understanding and satisfaction throughout your project.
