When we perform a retrofit, we recommend rescreening the entire cage and replacing all fasteners at the same time. This ensures the entire structure ages at the same rate, receives the benefit of fresh materials, and ultimately extends the life of the cage. Because it involves fresh engineering of the main structural walls, a retrofit is one of the most effective ways to improve storm readiness while dramatically enhancing your backyard’s appearance.
