Paving stones are one of the strongest paving materials. Pavers are 3 – 4 times the strength of poured in place concrete. The interlock system allows a paver to move independently of its neighbors. It’s the interlocking of the pavers that allow weight loads to be spread over a wider area of pavers, this is key to the strength of the pavement system. Pavers can be used almost anywhere – for driveways, sidewalks, patios, garden paths and even porch floors as long as the underlying ground is properly prepared.
