Roof Over

There are 2 types of mobile home roof-over’s; Flat and Build-up.

Flat roof-over

If you have a roof that has leaks and you want to get it fixed quickly and at a lower cost, a flat roof-over is the best option. Aluminum is installed around the perimeter of the mobile home followed by 2” foam which lays flat to the roof. Finally a 12” wide aluminum roof pan cut to length to cover the entire roof.

Build-up roof-over

If you’re looking for more a more elegant look and better insulation, a build-up roof over is the best option. With this design the center of the roof is raised to add more of a gable style roof. This roof over is built like the flat but a ridge is added in the middle of the mobile home to meet the desired peak size. Because of the design you can add more insulation for a better R value.
